Love hurtsA Poem by ronLove
hurts
How
I dreamed of your kiss, your
lips that never touched mine.
All
I ever wanted was you to know, how
my heart beat for you.
But
another took yours in the moonlight, of
my heart.
All
I have is the look you gave another, even
when mine was lost on the winds of fate.
Love
hurts.
In
the moonlight of a sleepy town, caught
in the humidity of lust, passion, love
and more.
The
quiet streets shroud my love for you, in
the shadows of things that will never be.
I
will never love again, never
feel anything human.
Never
be anything more, than
a whisper upon you memories.
