Through IsolationA Poem by roobatoA poem about the new ways of life. From the shining beams, I see crows flying out. Walking towards the light, I sense something new. Rather, a lack of fear I once knew. I go, with my head held high and resolve bursting through. I fear nothing. I challenge everything. I am in control. Nothing in the world can stop me. Nothing. A voice that I once known, swollen with jealousy, asks angrily: "Realize your foolish ignorance and pride." But I know better, for that is the weakness of my former fool. Wiser and older, I push forward, ignoring all the pain and wrongdoings. Looking back at mistakes, I realize the wrong: Focusing on individual strokes, instead of the whole framed picture, Through isolation, this is the way I've been. Through isolation, this is the way I've become.
