Mom,

As I sit here

on this Mother's Day

 

thinking of you

looking at all the cards

that I had signed

addressed to you

with all my Love.

 

I know heaven got better

when the Lord took you

but I still miss you. 

 

I'm here today

just to let you know

that my mind and heart will never let you go

 

I will always pray and Thank God for You

as my mother

I love you!

wow, this one really got to me...my mother passed in 2014...

she was 92....had 70 years with my dad...which was amazing...but yes, heaven got better.
I am sorry for your loss....your poetry is beautiful here. And interesting i found this poem today....because today was their anniversary...Aug.5.

I can relate to you. Every Mother's Day, birthdays and well everyday that fills the year, we will miss our moms.

This was a very lovely poem. Almost all poem about moms are. I bet these words flows easy for you, because you seem to have some much love for your mom. Thoughts and prayers with you when ever the days are hard.
