This poem is about true friendship and how strong of a bond it is to truly have a best friend

Real friendship is
something everyone expects,
but rarely finds

Something your lucky to find once,
and if you find it twice you've been given a gift from God

Its someone you can email
when you've got guy problems you just can't figure out

Or someone who will be outside with you at 10pm when it's pitch black,
just to help you with you basketball

Real friendship is trying cookies you and your friend made at 4 am,
when you know she didn't have the right ingredients and made it up as you went along

It's typing "Luv Ya" at the end of a text
and always getting "I luv you too" back

A real friendship is knowing you can call at one am and know they won't be angry,
knowing your secrets are safe,
knowing your perfectly content with letting them cry on your shoulder all night long but wanting to kill who ever hurt them, and knowing that no matter what happens in the future that you've been blessed beyond belief
