They Hate

New Random Poem

All it took was just a couple of words
To turn his life upside down and make it a bit more absurd
My word, he was suddenly crucified
You could say it was all due to a little public homicide
And all those friends that he had?
And all the people he knew?
All the things that they said would cause an inner dispute
Back in the day, he could call them his friends
But now today, he knows it's all just pretend
They showed their true face
They showed him no grace
They no longer hold a place in his heart. No need to contend
They are now like the last line of this poem
