A Poem by Broken Melody

Stranger in the night,
hidden in the shadow,
gaze upon my window,
illuminated by light.
An eerie presence dancing under the moon,
with a sinister smile,
you wander no more than a mile,
humming an unearthly tune.
Oh phantom of darkness,
I can see the evil you harness,
I feel your gaze from below
my eyes watch you move careful and slow.
There is more to you than meets the eye,
your first impression is but a lie,
no one able to see beyond your charming mask,
to think ill of you one would see it a forbidden task.
Some perceive you a harmless man,
but no one sees what i can,
a hollow vessel, inside pitch black,
a corrupted mind ready to attack.
