A Ladys pain

A Ladys pain

A Poem by rosemary keogh

Heavy Rain drops on her face.

As she walks on lonely streets.

Not a sinner or a sound.

Just the noise of her own feet.

 Heart beating through her chest.

Thoughts running riots in her brain.

Tears rolling down her face but washed

off by the rain.  Pain piercing through

her heart. Heavy feelings in her gut.

She want to scream out loud, but

refrains herself and stops to look.

Through a window on the streets,

She sees a glimpse of her shattered self.

Love has scared her so much.

It has left her in this pain.

pain knows no boundaries and when it leaves scars from love it hurts more than we realize...nice work on this poem...
