Demon inside

Demon inside

A Poem by rosemary keogh

As she sits on the bridge with her hood pulled up.

Please can u help me as she shakes her cup.

She remembers the days when life was so good.

When she played with her children in a house full of love.

Her looks are all gone and she wants to give up.

So she begs for the money to buy her a sup.

Drugs flow through blood stream. The demons inside

She can’t see a bright future she’s losing her pride.

Men use her for sex she is beating so low.

As much as her family try to help her.

She does not want to know.

God only knows how much her family

miss her. They pray for the day when the

demon will leave her.

Such a sad write really,
Emotional read as well.
Nicely expressed and written.
Deep & Powerful.
