PardonA Poem by rudelizardThe weak can never forgive, forgiveness is an attribute of the strong - GhandiDon’t beg of me pardon, For I am all but disturbed; A lavish poor fool, Taunting the blade at my
neck. Cursed, as I appear, May there be bliss in
contempt, A bounty of scraps, Gently refined for my arid
fraught veins; Don’t pity my woes, Cravenly insult if you must
dare, We shall both lay out our
crimson, To angels amid a drought; Were it not for my torment, Affection perhaps would unveil.
We can likely debate, How malice, While hounding its prey, Leaves hearts fossilized, Merely to rest stifled in
the chest; As deceit emits in each
pulse, Lie concealed I ought to suggest, Just, Don’t beg of me pardon, For I am nothing, if not
