The subtle conversation

The subtle conversation

A Poem by Rusty

I said hello

She greeted me warmly and yet reserved

I tried to look inside her

Pry her open with my words

A letter was sent

An epistle was received

I liked to walk her move the dress with her walk

I longed to see strong strides up a hill

I watched her lips and eyes as she spoke

I don’t know if she noticed

I longed to know the softness of her kiss

Longed to feel her bite of passion

I jotted the address

She joined in the chase

Now reclined in the notion

There is something left to taste

Bitten
