The bellA Poem by Rusty
It pealed across my ears
I swore I could see its sound Resonates for years To this place I am found Echoes off my life Cascades across my ponds Written in my bones The sonnet carries on As if the Pharro's task Was to bury it with sand Setting fast the sail Never seeking land Bought with a burden Forever I will run From the toll of this bell I never should have rung
