Contemplation on Inspiration

Contemplation on Inspiration

A Poem by Phlywright

Inspiration, I've concluded, is the key to life.
Hmm...maybe not the key to life,
but certainly a formidable advisary for title.
And one which deserves a heartfelt contemplation.

Insipration is what brought me to this soliloquy,
And inspiration is what drove you to be who and what you are.
The lack of inspiration is why you, we are not all that we could be.
Indeed, we could all be so much more, if only we had the inspiration.

Why are we all so uninspired?
To be fair, we are inspired, just towards an undeserving end.
We push, pull, and strive for those things that take and never give back.
True inspiration comes from desire whose ultimate reward only serves to amplify that orignal inspiration exponentially.

Follow me, don't stray.

The quest for inspiration is, in and of itself, a source of true inspiration.
Live your life to be inspired; I promise you won't be dissappointed.
Some have found other sources of true inspiration,
The likes of which most of us will never know.
These people have a tendency to be held in a higher light,
For their existence must truly be more valuable than those without such purpose.

"Why?", you ask.

Life is truly a gift.
A gift, which, without inspiration, easily goes as quickly as it came.
Yet, with inspiration, life can radiate influence far beyond our physical existence.
Life can, potentially, rise above the din of our everyday world.
It can influence other life around it on physical, emotional, and subconscious levels.
Those with this inspiration, this influence, have a gift.
A gift to leave a lasting impression and fingerprint on the life that surrounds them.

Therefore, life lived with true inspiration is a life better lived than that without it.
To have used a life to influence rather than to simply live and die,
Is to recognize true divinity.
As such, I then say to you the following:

Be divine. Be inspired.
