Tomorrow eveningA Poem by mendedwords
In the dark you realize this is the moment when you lose everything, self, sanity, and of course the course to navigate your way back. Time eroded what solid foundation was there, the result is the empty shadows you vent to just inside the window pane. Prowling for the prey that was once relatable, labels peel off into the stream of consciousness. What's left to lose after this, questions of insanity played slowly through background noise; no love here only scraps. Maybe tomorrow we'll find a nice area next to a light post.
