Catastrophe within Sun’s Grace

Catastrophe within Sun’s Grace

A Poem by Svennn’s Monologue

Fairly written words,
Melodies sung by Orpheus.
Yet never the soul of Hercules.
These wandering twin-born souls
Do bear Prometheus’s flame.
“Thou shalt live as been destined by the gods,”
Yet never did the souls yield
To paths sewn by others,
Nor to destinies carved by Olympus.

The souls did whisper to the sky:
“We shalt never be horses in thy stead,
Rather we’ll embodies the pigeons
That will shatter thy sacred ways.”

Thus is it etched in their own manner,
Of their own soul,
In their own stead
To live a life unbound
By any Heaven’s tether.
