A Poem by Matthew L. Arcelay
"

written as flobo

"
if i blew through and stood there like an endless shadow
would you know me
try to touch base and feel my flow
see
i am without a trace displaced
ever on the edge of feeling
but also on the cross roads of reelin'
i see but do i be
rumbling on the bells of consciousness
i long for that unconscious bliss
where everything is sooo slick and the beat is all that matters
i skat out the back with some wild cats
pick up some knick knacks then blowback
as i roll past smoke stacks
castles in the stars is what i grasp for
maybe even playing some blues somewhere off tune
when i get around i place a penny on the bridges of my thoughts
and hope they get lost
cause when i'm on those trips is when i really get far
