when you shine you shine all the time
from behind the times
but never left behind
hope
i do
so solely hope that there are blessings in tears
within hearts hers theirs yours
i count the rush of feelings
somber prayers break open floodgates of anxiety
save grace save you
to many knocks before the heart stops
to many hearts paused about to drop
weeping willows replace weeping widows
before this picturesque window
a scene not wanted put to music and sung off key
to many voices asking for you not to leave
a hand held circle of life
a lit candle and one more prayer
please lord understand for this soul we are all scared
cause it is not he but we who are lost without his smile
