silhouette

silhouette

A Poem by Matthew L. Arcelay
"

written as pace rhodes

"

eight lines over i'm a slave to the moment
salivating at the sight of you
red lies dug in but a seedling planted in my mind of you
tells me this is so wrong it's right
casual exposure in the midnight hour
has me tracing your silhouette on the steam covered mirror
oh how i want to touch those curves
images of dewdrops slipping from your lips
have me wanting a taste of you
embellish my daydreams with your sugerdance
you move so sweet i want this to be real
they tell me make it happen
i smile inside while outwardly laughing
i'm still shy
that's why i pass by and when your not looking
leave my calling card one wild orchid
with a trail of flower petals leading to my door
and a note saying i'll be waiting by the window
tracing your silhouette and smiling

This is very good. I liked the description about tracing the curves in the steam. This has a nice flow! Great work!
