But looking out through your mouth
The composition
The way his hair dressed the pillow
The way his arm draped of the mattress
Overflowing onto the cold dirty ground below
Was the most grotesque image ever painted
Onto the back of my retinas
Upside down

I said
"I haven't seen him this tired in a long time"
"When did he call it quits?"
You said
"He is always like this; his little body just can't keep going any more"
"He is under attack every second"
