Fitted Together

We fit together

like the logs that lay

perfectly against the ground

as they light up a beautiful fire.

 

We fit together

just like the perfect mixture of

oxygen, heat, and light

that keep this fire going.

 

And as long as our logs

continue to refill,

and our perfect fire

continues to burn into the night sky,

 

I will always want to be fitted to you.
