An English sonnet…

Copy cat love written by a tip pen

As a rule of thumb truant to another

Rendered speechless than pain, hopeful than Zen

Sparing the rod, spoiling the blue flower.

 

Hoisting the self over a sleeping dog

As you hear a distinct voice in backgrounds

How to reframe moments dissipate fog

Those who venture fading skies and rebounds.

 

Come out to pray for temples rising high

The past is drunk with a long sup and toast

Streams form rivers, seas form the oceans by

From hidden clouds, the sun comes out to boast.

 

Some things are out of reach like an oasis

What is sought as treasure rails on traces.

Scattered lovely thoughts... there are some things in life we cannot reach...that are just too high in our minds....so we accept what we can.... how to remember things and forget them as well....
I wish I understood half of what's going on in your mind Sami....But the words are strong and aoft and the meter is excellent!
