Very good, I like your writing style. This isn't really something that I would normally be interested in, but it held my attention long enough for me to finish it. From the first sentence, you gave the reader a pretty clear picture of Violette's outlook on life and how her mind works.
There were a few grammar problems and I don't necessarily agree with some of your punctuation, but that's just about all I found wrong with it. Keep going, I like where this story's headed. Good luck! =)
