Her Dark and Evil Beauty IIA Poem by Samuel Pennell
She was dark cloud-hearted,
And she possessed an evil beauty
Dark lashes and brows And of course dark brown eyes that And although dark clouds were billowing all around her heart, there was a cat-like beauty in the curve of her hips As she stood there, in the snow, With a snowball poised in her hand, ready to throw, chunks of snow melting and dripping off of it Her voice echoed off into the dark forest, Her youthful shouts were muffled by the snow and it seemed the world was ending all around us: It felt as though we were the last two humans on Earth, as I looked off into the creaking silence of the dark woods. It was Tuesday forever As the gentle snow Swirled silently around us. The snow silently twirled down, out of the dark and quiet emptiness. © 2020 Samuel PennellAuthor's Note
