A Poem by Samuel H. Ludke

Walking to the grave I feel,
Like my heart is made of steel,
Go to church, stand and kneel,
Pay your dues and lose sleep,
Heard us to the grave like sheep,
Go to school, get a job,
Some didn't make it, steal and rob,
Drugs rampant and gun firing,
I feel it is all too tiring.
