Hey I'm new at this...

 

Lovers in retreat

Between silky red sheets play

Fireworks in night skies

 

Heart beats in my chest

Every day a new journey

*Swift river time flows

 

Flashing lights flicker

Desire enchants the night air

Old men walk alone

 

Betrayer kills love

Justice enters shadow court

Hope hangs from gallows

 

 

*Swift river time is the term Native Americans call the present day... when things continue to happen faster and faster.
