The Hat

I perceive the sensation of a hat on my head

 

Floppy canvas brimmed

 

Obstructing my view of

 

A pine tree draped with snow.

 

Days later

 

Melted snow drops from the tree

 

And plops on the brim.

 

Whatever became of the hat?

I really like this, to me it's not so much of an emotional write but more of a riddle, more entertaining and intended to provoke thought and questions. It feels like a poem intended to produce more questions than answers and I like that

A very philosophical question... yes the hat not only for protection and style but shielding us from hazards of life, i think in life to many of us wear a hat... I think it's time to let the sunshine upon my head and let my mind feel the heat of life. Very nicely done.
