The best and the worst kind of love

With confused and crushed hearts 
Trying to make sense of life in parts
They aimlessly search for direction
Adamant at living a life filled with affection.
Looking to find solace 
Even in the nooks, where it is hopeless
Desperate, at bringing life to a meaningful end
They depend on shooting stars, their new best friend.

Very often, the ones they care about
Are left unaware, living in doubt
For them, nothing is ever enough
True love is always this tough.
They wish for the one they want
Trying to act nonchalant
Never realising that they are
Another's wish on the same shooting star.

Unrequited love is truly the best kind of love, and this is how love should go on, it is just so pure, but sadly it has lost its meaning in this modern world, love has almost become a give and take game... Unconditional love is painful, you will find hopelessness in it but there hides the essence of true love...

I loved your word choices and presentation, there is a nice imagery in the poem and thought provoking message... It flows well too... Well done...

A beautiful poem there. Unrequited love is something which brings nothing, but pain. You wish for the one whom you love badly, but nothing happens. You wish looking at a shooting star, unacquainted with the fact that somebody is too wishing for you the same way.
Good rhyming. You can write better. Keep writing.
