Black VelvetA Poem by sarahViolence through which she went without any reason.Wounded she lay there, looking at her bleeding skin. Her soul had been savaged, she was robbed off her innocence. A while ago she was the charmer of her parent's eyes, she was the secret keeper of her bro's mischievous smiles. But now she feels disgusted of who she is, after all she failed to protect herself of those metal scars, She couldn't read the intentions behind those generous acts. She should have been alert everytime, she should have controlled her reflections. Head to toe armor should be her dressing style, how dare she thought to live and fly as a butterfly. How did she forget those hungry beast, who attack to prove their manliness deeds, who cannot dare to snub off their indecent greed, who are coward to be a man, who should not be expected humanity on a human land, who are too weak to earn respect, are just aware of force and threat, and show their strength inside the black velvet.
