What's it mean to reminisce on a made-up
memory
An aging actress who's never starred
Recreating moments only I believe
To be real, I feel, they're gone not forgotten
Cause all they are is sub-par

Reality is a cold mister of misery
Prostituting itself to belief, not truth
It wraps its clammy hands around apathy
Chokes it to existence, in your face
So imagination is lost in a bottle of
vermouth
