A Poem by The Adventure
"

6 November 2011

"
Pressed down,
Shoved,
Punched and Drowned,
Unloved.
Yet here I stand,
Try to push me now!
Cause I stand tall,
Though I don't know how.
Bright and shining
I keep going,
Walking down a path,
No longer knowing.
I close my eyes,
Take a step.
Though I fall in water,
I know the depth.
Though tears are shed,
I remember how to smile.
A sight not seen
For quite a while.
Appreciation
Now kills the suffocation
Of a time when
All I knew was depression.
So try to kill me,
Stab me,
Chill me,
I'm only gonna turn around a say:
"God has finally healed me!"
