The life I wish I hadA Poem by Sarah LynnHome is where the heart isI'm not ready to grow up. Why is life so unfair? I want to be a little girl again. I want to walk in my house and see my mom and dad. Just thinking this way makes so sad. Things will never be the same. Both my parents have gone their separate ways. As have I. Looking back on my younger years, i'm ready to cry. Everything I thought life would be was just a big lie. Maybe I wouldn't mind growing up if I had the perfect family. A mother in the kitchen, cooking. A father at work, working. And myself coming in from a long day of living my own life. But at least my family would be where there suppose to be. Home.
