Autumn

The season of fall

 

Autumn leaves swirl beneath my feet

No more green amongst these trees 

The light cool breeze swooshes past

The scent of pumpkin pie throughout the house, forever lasts

Oh how i love this season.

I wanted to make one of the fairly short yet sweet poems.

Look what you did. Now I want Pumpkin pie. That's my favorite pie, with only apple coming in a close second.

This is a nice, short poem. It has the right amount of..."home" in it for me and the first three lines nail the feel of the season's weather. My only foible is that that the "I" should be capitalized. Other than that you did well.
