It used to be only a part of what I've felt for him

I know I've found my place,
And it hurts not to be there,
I know who's my other half,
Which makes us a pair.

 

I don't know what future brings,
So I am being bold,
I don't know my way from here,
So I let the tale unfold.

 

My heart couldn't be more clear,
And for once my mind agrees,
My heart has led me here,
And sees more than I'll ever see.

 

All those vivid colors,
Which makes my head spin,
All those strong emotions,
The thoughts that lay within.

 

The dreams that used to taunt me,
Bring relief now to my mind,
The dreams that fortold this future,
Make it clear which I've left behind.

 

I'm more myself than ever before,
As now my second half is found,
I'm more mature, of that I'm sure,
That's how the tale unwound.

 

I'm not closed up anymore,
But looser though I hold fast,
I'm not to be pitied anymore,
As I just know that this will last.

It's been over for several months now but I thought, but I felt like I should post it,
Just another chapter closed in the story of my life ^^

Very nicely written. You kept the structure the same throughout the poem, which makes it easy to read. The nice vocabulary and switches in word order (like: "Bring relief now to my mind") also add a lot of value. Great!
