Summer's GiftA Poem by ☯A boy and a girl. Summer's comfort. Do you see an image now?Hot summers day. Humid, breathless air. I guess this is exactly how you make me feel. Emotions swirl orange, red, & yellow, radiating the sun, and it's everlasting blazing love. You're like the sweet vanilla, added to my icecream. You flavor my life, like paint flavors it's canvas. Your my calming breeze, before the violent storm. If I could, I would have left you in my pocket. Small, and safe, Living life between a thin piece of fabric. A boy and a girl. Do you see an image now? The pink and blue episodes, of drama, and water fights. The nights of stars, and warm sand beneath your feet. Those summer nights were special, even if just for a little while. Because in every girl's life, there is that one boy she'll never forget; and the summer, where it all began. It's just memories, Waiting to happen.. © 2011 ☯Featured Review
