The universe has the answer to anything and everything, but for those who can approach in the right way, in right attitude with pure, silent solitude :)
Sometimes when you're at your crossroad of life, a silent conversation with the skies really help, for nature is the best listener and the best healer :)
Thankyou for going through my words.

I got focused on the top, the notion of being alone with the the sky and soul. And the sky and soul perhaps knowing things we cannot know, even though our soul is in us and the sky is all around us. I am happy with that notion, the though of being in the presence of mysteries I will never understand. Nice. I like that thought. I've given up trying to know. The more we know the more we realise we don't know anyway. So I've reasched the point of not worrying too much about 'knowing'.
As for the world being a place full of lies and disguises. Yes, it is. The thought of honesty making life difficult in this world of dissembling and falsehoods is interesting. But such are human beings. Which brings me back to the idea of solitude. I like solitude because when we are alone we are perhaps with the one person we can be absolutely truthful with if we care to be.

Nice work on this poem, so many good points of interest, balancing life with Nature and feeling emotionally connected to both makes for very expressive poetry.
Nice!

Ah, I loved this. I often get caught up in the idea that poetry has to be grandiose and romantic, but time and time again, I find that poetry that follows the simplest rules, such as witty rhymes, is often the most insightful, nerve-wracking, and enjoyable to read. This piece belongs to that category. I have a feeling I will return to this piece often, accompanied by a light-polluted night sky that, despite this, lets a few stars shine through the veil.
wow, so epic. the truth in a world full of lies. i'm fascinated with the sky and find myself often examining it. the truth can indeed hurt but it's only by living that we discover it. very memorable. great flow and rhyming. bravo.

Glad you liked the poem so much.
I really love this. I had to read it a few times to ensure that I got everything. My favorite line, "Your soul is drawn to the secrets I know" I feel this literally at the soul level. Thanks for writing and sharing. Have a great day.
I do believe that that the universe, especially the night sky, gives us hope...the world today is in chaos and we need the peace of the cosmos to help us fare better....we all have troubled times and we need peace and quiet and perhaps meditation to help sooth our souls....your writing is superb, I really enjoyed all of it and it makes sense as well....Bravo!
Warmly, B

Thankyou for leaving such a thoughtful and genuine review for my poem . Really glad that you could relate and understand the depth of my poem. I agree, the night sky, specially the midnight sky has the answer to the unanswered human question, and all cures to human maladies :)

I agree with the mantra of the last two lines. I always feel small and insignificant on the ocean or under the canopy of stars at night. When I think of how great they are my troubles seem small and they comfort my confused illusion with truth. We are only stardust, may we each glitter for a moment the best we can.
