SILENCEA Poem by saunvedSilence...where are you?Silence.
I looked around myself, in me...and around myself... no noise, no voice, none at all... silence! Where were the blood-curling screams, of agony, of pain...of parting grief, where were the sounds of cruel laughter, where was the wink of deceit? SIlence? Within me, I felt myself, alone...like I never had... no aim, no goal, no desire or want... the breaths coming in, without a sound! SILENCE! Oh! Silence, where are you now? For this world torments me so, and leaves behind with me, a scar, a wound, a slash, a burn... torturing me, gifting me sorrow! Silence, Now I call to thee, come forth now, and quench the noise, with your omnipresent self, and give to those who torture and torment, the meaning of peace, the meaning of SILENCE. © 2012 saunvedAuthor's Note
