Very interesting idea for a poem. I like the way this poem flows. It's also got a very 'real' feeling to it, because just about everyone can relate to really wanting to have someone there for them and then not getting it. Also, I think a lot of people can relate to what seems to be going on in the bottom stanza (at least my take on what's happening), when they feel as though they have started to slip away from their friends and that they are not doing such a good job of being there when others need them.

In all, very good work and interesting idea! Keep it up.
