Chapter L: End Result 

“Well, your ships have been repaired and upgraded, where are you going now?” ONE asks. 

“Probably back home to Earth.” Ballester says. 

“I have refugees to drop off.” Gorlog says. 

“And I’m headed back to Fantasix to train more people, we barely made it out of there!” Shedwin says. 

“Nice to know we have allies out here.” Ballester says. 

“You got rid of the biggest pest in this part of the galaxy, but remember, they’re still scattered throughout the universe.” 

“Ah, s**t!” 

“Yeah, just be careful getting home.” 

“Will do.” The Galaxian and Fantasix ships take off. “Is everyone ready?” 

“Not everyone is here.” Gorgax says. Ballester talks into his communicator.  

“Attention, everyone back to the ship.” ONE exits the building with 101. 

“I’m impressed by the footage 101 has captured, you really are resilient.” ONE says. 

“Thanks, we try to be.” 

“As a gift, I’d like to offer 101 as a part of your crew. It can do anything from maintenance, to supplying information, and anything else you choose to program into it.” 

“Can we f**k it?” 

“If you, uh, so choose to, yes, it’s fully equipped for both male and female pleasure.” Ballester and Gorgax look at each other and smirk. 

“It’s also equipped for combat, and I will send it upgrades remotely so you don’t have to worry about it becoming obsolete.” 

“Welcome to the team, 101.” 

“Thank you.” 101 says. 

“If there’s nothing else?” ONE asks. 

“No, as soon as the rest of the crew gets here, we’ll be taking off.” 

“I am glad to know that not all organics are hostile. We stayed closed off for so long out of fear of being destroyed. Thank you for alleviating that concern.”  

“No problem.” Eventually, everyone returns to the ship. They take off, and once they leave the atmosphere, they are met with five Zorkon ships fused together. “Oh, f**k.” 

“Scanning...They seem to share one energy source distributed evenly, acting as one giant ship, however they still control individual weapons systems.” 101 says. 

“What does that mean?” 

“It means I’m getting us the f**k out of here!” Gorgax says, as she engages the engines and puts out maximum thrusters. “Holy s**t, this thing got faster!” 

“Nice!” Ballester says. The giant ship is chasing them, itself being chased by a robotic ship firing on them, but not causing much damage. “So much for their superior technology.” 

“I don’t think they were prepared to fight that behemoth.” 

“So how do you think WE’RE supposed to beat it?” 

“I don’t f*****g know! Hey look, it’s NG-566!” 

“Woah, that was pretty fast!” 

“Yeah, this ship will take us home in no time!” 

“Stop.” 

“What?” 

“Stop the ship!” Gorgax eases off the thrusters. 

“Why?” 

“I don’t wanna put our solar system in danger. We’ll make our stand right here!” 

“What about NG-566?” 

“What about it?” 

“They might suffer collateral damage.” 

“Fine, turn us around and head back to your galaxy, but don’t quite reach it. Just keep us far away from both NG-566 and S**t Planet that neither will be damaged in the attack.” 

“Got it.” She turns the ship around, and the giant ship follows them, with the robotic ship still firing on it, causing minimal damage. 

“Maybe if they’re lucky, they can punch a hole in the hull of that ship, and we won’t have to fire on it. I wonder why they haven’t fired at us yet?” 

“Tempting fate again, dear?” 

“No! No, I’m just wondering, because it doesn’t seem to match the behavior of what we know about them.” 

“Maybe they only have one big shot, and they’re saving it.” 

“Well, considering how much we damaged the ships, that sounds about right.” 

“Maybe we can talk to them.” 

“Are you crazy?” 

“Yes! I thought you knew this about me. Arizona, hail them. Arizona calls the giant ship and a Zorkon Commander answers. 

“What do you want?” He asks. 

“I was thinking, maybe we stop with the cat and mouse, and just-” 

“Cat and mouse?” 

“Our back and forth between each other, maybe we can talk things out.” 

“You destroyed our planet, there is nothing left to talk about.” 

“But surely-” He gets cut off. ”S**t.” The enemy ship starts to glow. “Let’s go! Maybe if we keep moving, they can’t fire.” Gorgax moves the ship around in evasive maneuvers, and the enemy ship stops glowing and starts pursuing. The robot ship punches a hole in one of the ships, and the crew is sucked out of the hole, left floating in space. “F**k yeah!” The robot ship targets another section and starts its attack again. “Keep us moving until we come up with a good enough strategy.” 

“Sure thing, hun.” She keeps the ship going around in circles and zigzags, and the enemy ship is having a hard time keeping up. 

“Try firing on them, Manboutu.” 

“Uh, which weapon?” Manboutu asks. 

“Try to disable them first, just in case the plasma beam needs to be fired more than once.” Manboutu fires the EMP burst, but it doesn’t do anything. “S**t. Alright, fire lasers.” Manboutu fires, and it slices a cut into one of the hulls, but not enough to cause much damage. “F**k, fire again.” Manboutu fires, and the ship shuts down. “F**k. S**t. F**k. S**t.” The Zorkon ship catches up with them and starts charging. The robot ship manages to punch a hole into the hull where the slices are, evacuating more of the crew, but the ship is still charging. “Repair teams, get on it! Manboutu, where are we on the weapons?” 

“Depleted, without power we can’t do s**t.” 

“F**k, I was hoping the upgrades would compensate for that.” 

“Apparently not, sir.” 

“S**t. Scorpious, help us out here.” I’m not going to do that, this is an ending, so I ignore him. “F**k you!” The enemy ship is still charging. “Ah, f**k, we’re gonna die!” 

“Well, you and Oigres won’t, but we sure will.” 

“You forget, Scorpious controls everything, if he wants us to die, we can die.” 

“Oh, I’m sure he’s not gonna let anyone die.” 

“You sure about that?” 

“No.” 

“Aha, see?” 

“Come on, repair teams!” The power turns on, and Gorgax maneuvers the ship out of the way, just as a giant blast whizzes right by them. Everyone lets out a collective sigh of relief. Gorgax hits the thrusters and speeds the ship forward, circling around, tracing their route to keep surrounding planets from getting hit in the crossfire. “How are we doing on weapons?” 

“Weapons are still down.” 

“What? How?” 

“I guess systems to the weapons haven’t been restored yet- oh wait, there they go.” 

“Fire lasers.” Manboutu fires the lasers cutting into another section of the ship, while the robot ship is shooting at the same spot. “If we can destroy all five ships, then we’ll be good.” 

“Firing.” The third section of the ship gets a hole blown into it, sucking out the crew. 

“Yes! We’re gonna win this fight, I can feel it!” 

“I sure hope so, sir.” 

“I’m confident that we-” A powerful EMP knocks the ship back out. “What the f**k just happened?” 

“Uh, you know that EMP weapon we have? Apparently they have one too.” 

“You’re f*****g kidding me.” 

“I wish I were. We’ll be down for twenty four hours, and we only have twenty hours of life support.” 

“So, we are gonna die out here, great. Real f*****g great.” 

“Don’t we have emergency power?” 

“Yes! Yes, Nogal, turn on emergency power.” 

“Yes, dad. But I must warn you, we’ll have no weapons and minimal shields, we’d be fodder for them.” Nogal says back. 

“Then get us moving, Gorgax.” 

“Yes, dear.” Gorgax says. ”Uh, babe, we don’t have much power in the thrusters, so we’re gonna be pretty slow.” 

“What’s the robot ship doing?” 

“Hammering another section of the ship, but it’ll take them awhile to do it by themselves.” 

“S**t. Is there any reason the robot ship isn’t being attacked?” 

“They’re cloaked, sir.” Manboutu says. “The enemy’s scanners are scrambled when trying to find the robot ship. Besides, we seem to be the primary target.” 

“Goddammit!” Ballester slams his fist. 

“So what do we do now?” 

“Divert engines to weapons.” 

“It’s not enough, we’re going to have to take from life support too.” 

“F**k.” 

“If only we had another warhead...” 

“Yeah, too bad we don’t.” 

“Well, this is where we make our last stand. Gorgax, have us face the enemy ship. Manboutu, keep firing the lasers until we’re depleted.” 

“But sir-”  

“Just do it.” 

“Ok.” Gorgax positions the ship, and Manboutu starts firing. The enemy starts charging again. Manboutu keeps firing, as does the robot ship. The enemy lets out another shockwave, and it hits the ship. “Sir, it seems they surrounded the ship in a giant bubble of oxygen.” 

“Well, that’s odd, why would they surround us with oxygen? That’s just going to preserve our lives longer.” The Zorkon ship fires a laser beam, catching the oxygen on fire, blowing up the ship.

A second review if allowed; This chapter was the sexiest I've read so far! (Females look for sexy stuff. Gorgax would know that.)
I like the way the characters talk to their god, Scorpious. Being religious, I hate when they use God's name in vain. That is a major Commandment breaker. But you are the author, not me.
Also, IF you leave the end open, you can always add to it, if you want to. Yeah, I see the question mark (-:

Another PS. Wouldn't it be wild if beings such as Elon Musk refers to starts showing up? Gorgax II could be like a negative version of Gorgax! Scorpious can do anything so he'll have to decide that. I'm constantly reading so I see bits and pieces I didn't see previously. This is a major achievement!
