Chapter LXXIII: Ballester vs Mollyester

Ballester heads to Serge’s lab, where Mollyester is blowing Serge. “Guess what, c**t? You’re out.” She finishes.

“What?”

“Me and Gorgax talked it over, and we both agreed that you’re a liability.”

“Ultimate Ruler, do something!”

“Sorry, they don’t want you around anymore. You violated one of the very few rules we have here.” Serge says.

“HA!” Ballester says.

“No! I’m not leaving!” Mollyester says.

“You have 45 hours to vacate the premises. Considering you didn’t come with anything, it shouldn’t take two days to pack everything, but it should give you plenty of time to reflect on why you’re leaving.” Serge says.

“No! NO! NO!” She takes her gun out, and shoots Ballester in the head, then points it at Serge. She tries to shoot him too, but her gun jams, and Ballester gets up and knocks the gun out of her hand. She punches him in the face, and he lets her, knowing that one punch from him will kill her.

“Hey boss?” Ballester asks as he’s getting hit.

“Sup?” Serge asks.

“If I kill her, what happens to me?”

“Same, exile.”

“Even though she’s attacking me and leaving anyway?”

“Yeah, I don’t wanna show favoritism.”

“Seriously?”

“Yeah, when family/coworkers start trying to kill each other, that’s where I draw the line. Kill all the Scotts you want, but civilians and everyone here at the lab are off limits.”

“But I’ve killed civilians before, when this all started.”

“Yeah, but that was before the Galaxians established themselves here and helped reorganize the world. Now that everything is ‘normal’, I can’t have you killing civilians, it’s not a good look for us.”

“So how am I supposed to get back at her? One punch will kill her.”

“If you can injure without killing, that’s ok.” As Mollyester continues punching and kicking Ballester, he’s slowly backing out of the office, and he starts to get away from her, but she keeps on him. He runs, he hides, but she keeps finding him.

“Leave me the f**k alone!”

“No! I hate you! I love you! I don’t know!” Mollyester says, as she drops to the ground and starts crying.

“What is your deal?”

“I hate you for leaving, but I never stopped loving you. I’m jealous of the love you and Gorgax have, that should be me!”

“Is that why you won’t sign the divorce papers?”

“I didn’t even think that would still be a thing.”

“The human race insisted on keeping the marriage/divorce rituals, which Galaxians can participate in if they wish, but Galaxians are chemically married, they have no need for divorce.”

“So why does it matter if I sign the papers or not?”

“Because I want you to leave me alone forever.”

“F**k you!” She kicks him straight in the balls, which knocks him down, and of course Mollyester being Mollyester, kicks him while he’s down. Ballester shoots her in the foot, and she falls over. Ballester aims the gun at her head, but shoots her shoulder. “What the f**k?”

“You started this s**t.” He picks her up and carries her to the hospital wing, and throws her on an empty bed. “Nyvar, got a patient for you!” Nyvar shows up.

“What the f**k did you do, dad?” Nyvar asks.

“She started it. Fix her up, please.”

“I swear, you’re like a child.”

“I can’t kill her, I had to do something.”

“You’re both children.”

“Excuse me?” Mollyester says.

“You heard me.”

“Are you just going to let her talk to us like that?”

“Well, she is the doctor.” Ballester says.

“She’s also your daughter.”

“And? She’s smarter than me, I’m man enough to admit that. She’s also half alien, so our little squabble probably seems so trivial to her, isn’t that right, honey?”

“Exactly right, dad. Now don’t move, Molly. I gotta get all these little bits out.” She cleans the wound and bandages it. “Alright, take off your shirt, I gotta work on that shoulder wound.” Nyvar says. Mollyester takes off her shirt with her good arm and Nyvar removes the bullet and cleans and dresses the wound. She transfers Mollyester to a wheelchair, and takes her to the room next to Gorgax’s, and moves her to the bed. “You know, I don’t know what you see in my dad. I don’t even know what my mom sees in him. He’s a great dad, and he loves my mom, but most of his decisions are very questionable.”

“I don’t know, he was such a badass when we met, that’s what I fell in love with. Then one day he just disappeared. I should absolutely hate him, and I do, but seeing him again stirred up feelings I thought were dead.”

“Well, this is the s**t that happens when you get involved with my dad.”

“Hey, thanks for fixing me up-” Nyvar smacks her in the face really hard. “The f**k was that for?”

“For trying to kill my mother. As a doctor, I can’t just let you suffer with bullets in you, but as a daughter, I feel you deserve more than a slap in the face, but I’ll take what I can get.”

“Oh...you know about that?”

“Who do you think fixed her up? Better or not, you’re still leaving in 40 hoursI’m not gonna ask for an extension for you. Hope you know triage, cause it’s gonna be rough out there until you get to another hospital. As your doctor, I’ll give you a checkup and give you fresh dressings, but after that, you’re on your own.”

“You’re very nice, are you sure you’re Ballester’s daughter?”

“Considering he and my mom were the first people I saw upon hatching, I’m going to go with yes. And the ONLY reason I’m being nice to you is because it’s my job. I took two oaths, one human, one Galaxian, to do no harm.”

“But you just slapped me in the face.”

“As a daughter, not as a doctor.”

“What’s the difference?” Nyvar takes a cool rag and presses it against the slap mark.

“That.”

“Point taken.”

“Do you want to talk to my father?”

“Yeah.” Nyvar lets Ballester in, and leaves the room. “You know, you got a good kid there.”

“Yeah, I know.” Ballester says.

“I’m- I’msorryItriedtokillyourwife.” Mollyester says quietly and quickly.

“What was that?”

“I said, I’m sorry I tried to kill your wife, okay?”

“Holy s**t, that’s the first time I can remember that you’ve apologized to me for anything.”

“Well, after talking with your daughter, it finally hit me that you’re not mine anymore.”

“And you snubbed Gorgax, who wanted you to be a part of our family because you’re Sallester’s mother, and since he shares my DNA, he was automatically welcomed into the family, and you by proxy because he wouldn’t be here without you. You went and fucked all that up. She gave you infinite patience, even though I wanted you out on day one. You’re just a terrible person, and once you leave, I don’t ever wanna see you again.”

“That’s fair.”

“This could have all been avoided had you either stayed with my brother, or tried to integrate yourself into the family. Instead, you decided to try to sabotage it any way you could.”

“Ugh, I don’t like your brother, he’s, he’s not-”

“He’s not what?”

He’s not you, ok? Just looking at him reminded me of you, you two look so much alike.”

So what’s the problem? You could have just looked at him and pretended he was me. Lots of couples pretend their partner is someone else, especially during sex.”

“Do you?”

“Nah, Gorgax is so intense, I don’t have time to think of anyone else.”

“Really? I notice she doesn’t have these.” She takes off her shirt again.

“I’m not gonna lie, I really do miss tits.”

“Wanna do it one last time before I go? Technically it’s not cheating, we’re still married, and we both know Gorgax is ok with it.” She unhooks her bra. “Come on, big boy, mama wants one last hurrah.”

Unnnggh.” Ballester grunts as he ponders his decision. Mollyester continues to undress.

“Come on, some nice, warm p***y right here for you.” She starts rubbing herself. “Mm, so wet.” She puts her fingers to his nose, and he breathes in deeply.

“F**k it.” Ballester rips off his clothes and f***s her on her bed. “Unnngh, f**k yes! Take it b***h, take my whole dick!”

“YES! KEEP GOING! F**K ME DEEP! OHHHHH YEAH, OH, F**K!” An hour later, they’re getting dressed. “Oh, that was the best sex we’ve had yet! A little rough on my throat though.”

“That’s why it’s called hate f*****g.”

“How bad is it?” She tilts her head back.

“Damn, I left some fingerprint bruises on you, I’m surprised your neck didn’t break.”

“It is a little hard to breathe. Get your daughter in here, have her check nothing is broken in there.”

“I think you’d be dead if that was the case.” He pages Nyvar, who comes into the room. She sniffs the air.

“Did you two mate in here?” Nyvar asks. Mollyester and Ballester look at each other, then Nyvar, then the floor. “Gross.” She checks out the bruises. “Damn, dad, you’ve never choked mom THIS hard. Come on, let’s get an X-ray done.” She rolls her eyes as her and Mollyester leave the room. After they come back, Nyvar holds up the X-ray of Mollyester’s head. “You cracked her trachea, dad. You’re going to need to wear this neck brace for a couple of weeks. Or take it off after you leave, I don’t really care.”

“I can’t move my head in this thing.”

That’s the point. One wrong move of your neck, and your dead. You’re actually very lucky, you could already have died.”

“It’s hard to breathe.”

“Yeah, there’s a hairline fracture in your windpipe, that’s gonna happen.

“It was worth it.” She grins at Ballester.
