And this is all

And this is all

A Poem by The Misplaced Poet
"

The tragic consequence of when love can no longer out weigh the amounting life pressures

"

And this is all…

My life is far from failure free,
And this is all that they will see,

Refuse to let my struggles show,
And this is all that I will know,

Voicing lies that you will hear,
And this is all that I do fear,

Our lives a plight of love and lust,
And this is all a game of trust,

Already know that I have lost,
And this is all at a great cost,

I’ve been called a cheat, a fake,
And this is all that I can take,

Fulfil your life after mine ends,
And this is all I offer in amends,

Wet, face down, afloat,
And this is all a suicide note,

And this is all

That first line, "My life is far from failure free"
Inversion + alliteration = one yummy verse

i like this poem, but anytime i see a sad ending it leaves a bad taste in my mouth, perhaps that's what the poet hopes to achieve
