Baby Steps

2004-11-16 accepted the adult me by accepting the baby me

I took baby steps into my daddy's arms
My daddy held me close and always let me
know that I was loved

I took baby steps into my hubby's arms
My hubby wasn't daddy but he always did
his best to take care of me

I took baby steps into my faith
My faith comforted me when daddy
and hubby failed to be there

I took baby steps into my Heavenly Father's presence
My Heavenly Father let me know I was loved,
took care of all my needs, comforted me
and gave my daddy back to me and helped hubby
understand the fickle little baby in me
