2004-11-16 seasonal musing

I walk past the shop windows featuring new clothing for
the season and am amazed to see pink, purple and
turquiose..where did spring go...what were people wearing
when it was warm or are these bright colors a pychological
means to keeping summer around longer..is this a protest
against the upcoming cold of winter?

I for one shall continue to enjoy the last bit of warmth,
and will welcome my overcoat and steamy breath with my
dull browns and greys.
