Problem Solved

Problem Solved

A Poem by Michael G. Smith
"

....

"

I felt the need this day

To pen more of some nonsense poetry

But my mind rejected the will

And each and every time

The pen touched down

It solved another problem in the universe

This was something that came to me reading Rutherford's poetry, but it is aimed at all of us who intend to write one thing and something totally different emerges.

I try and try, too. Seems like my pen just won't do what I want it to. Blaming the pen is what I have come down to lately, Michael. So frustrating! Rutherford has a cool way of looking at things that my eye tends to skip right over. Nicely done here. Angi~

I hear ha sister, there's an unbalance in the poetry force every now and then.
The Muse takes us wherever she wants... But hey, as long as the universe's problems are getting solved... ;)

I try to write prophetic poetry and it comes out nonsense.
He is a brillant kinda of guy, but in your defence, it does take one to know one.

Good one Maria.
No matter how much we try to convince ourselves the fact is its the words which force us to write, we hardly make any effort like a helipad for a chopper.
