A nature poem I wrote in poem.

 

Natures Wish

The night alights

At the sight of a shooting star

Spinning past the world

Illuminating the moon

As darkness slips away

A new time arises

 

Wind drifts through crooked branches

Awakening the insects within

A sparrow flies off in the distance

Wood peckers search for grubs

Deer wander through the forest

Salmon swim up a nearby stream

The forest is alive

Fulfilling natures wish

The gift of life
