I wait

Each day i wait in earnest,

Hoping that I may.

Meet the one I so desire,

Who shall be the end to my cravings.

I know not why 

I wait in earnest

For he whom I've never seen,

To enter my lonely living, 

And to satiate my desires,

To fill the void within myself,

To hold me close

When I'm afraid

To guide me home

When I'm lost.

Oh, I wish he were true

That I'd find him one day,

That my lonely self

Shall find a solace found nowhere

But within him

It's like reading the thoughts of a self-proclaimed monster.
But I am sure, that will not be the case in reality.

What a wonderful depiction of the lonely soul... Is not everyone trying to find solace, and the tragedy, we never will know it when it is nigh, but only when it has gone by.

we all hope for that one person to fill the void of emptiness in our heart---a very sincere write...first line i would capitalize the "I" to stay consistent...
