Red~A Poem by NoneOfYourBusiness akaKITTY KUTABAREakaCandyPole~OracleSeries~Crimson apples filled with helium I curve crescent spine blending into white sheets spread on a rock by a stream playing strings on fire branching underground inverted tree giving face through a bed of violets two red beryl tulips a wound in my side for his heavy fingerprints pull of weeds a garland of doves in the mud his shoes black shiny on a bench he comes to with an ache in his side a bottle of wine pouring petals in a circular dance creating a horizon of ochre silver clouds a city where arms reach between buildings closing distances on a screen of pale hues bleeding themselves into crisp ruby pleats up the thighs of the girl walking with red apples filled with helium
