Some muse you have, to be given such eyes be they violet or Jasmine or the green of Jade, men will no doubt die in those eyes, drowning in them to a womans delight
Such a vivid imagination you have, and unique to the ninth degree, you continue to amaze with your skill......never stop, not even when I'm gone :O)
All that I've read from you Selene from the complicated infusion of words to the down right wickedly worded bonanzas, this by far is beautifully compact and easily read by dopey writers such as myself. I love it :))) and it be's that way all the time....xo
Such fragility and then the full strength of a girls striking jade eyes that announce her presence and captivate; make others want to possess her (maybe?) Beautiful imagery and wonderfully well crafted!
i love these lines - "I am very good at going
unnoticed
in a crowded room" - such a melancholic Plath like feel to it - to blend into the background and dissipate amongst the noise - sometimes it's desired! brilliantly descriptive as always! you're in your own league!! ha! nice!
playful and demanding little flirts, those poems can be. what a delightful write,
full of lovely imagery and connected fantasy. i especially liked "if you are reaching for me with an uncluttered mind" definitive of expectation and desire. very nice.
I loved this Selene, it made me think of how I always try to go around unoticed and stay quiet, I am an outspoken person and people seem to like me until I overcome my shyness and start finding my voice, its as if I can control the world by hiding who I am, Keep my mouth shut then I wont get into trouble, I guess I caught fear very young. Your poem of averted gaze almost made me imagine someone who doesn't want to see, no one can hurt us if we don't give eye contact. Thankyou.
A young age to be re-born... those young eyes were transported beyond the realm of reason. Yet, here you are smack in the middle of your 100th rebirth at least? =)
Your life is the epitome why we must never remember the scroll we wrote before re-entered this space, cuz we might just say, "Hell no, I'm staying here and playing tag with the clouds."
so much the picture of Victoria ...and her prose...come to Texas and learn a new lifestyle....be caressed by the Goddesses and Masters of this Southern Thing?
Oh, but this is beautiful Selene. Speaks of love, the desire to run away from the crowd and the loss of innocence and in the end it defines the girl the circle closes. Wonderful wonderful write!
