~patterns~

Above the paper

hovering

a thousand curves and lines;

the poet

takes a  bullet in metaphors

her ink

splatters

drips down a picture frame

a coroner’s Rorschach

hovering

an onyx moth

her dusky dust

molting

in candle light

 

The Lonely poem

folds her corners

once

thrice

over

flip

once more

now;

a recycled poem

into

an origami swan

in skye blue
