River of Time

Deep in the pits of hell a man named john sat at a crossroads. In the middle of the crossroad was a pole with two signs in the shape of an arrow pointing down both paths. One of the signs read “Field of the Forgotten” and on the other was “The River of Time” John thought he would go to see the river of time first then come and visit the field of the forgotten after all he did have all the time in the world. So John set out on the path that the sign had pointed towards. After what felt like an eternity John heard a roaring from a monstrous river. Still following the path he could smell salt water which reminded him of a beach he lived near when he was alive. John came to a fine, white, sanded beach and there he saw a great black river at least 100 yards across with a current that could tear him apart. The sound was overwhelming laughing, screaming, crying, people talking. John walked to the very edge of the water and felt the cool waters on his bare toes. John laughed delighted as he saw a moment from his childhood he had long forgotten. Then two large hand pressed firmly on John’s back harshly throwing him into the black “waters”. The current took him in seconds whipping him left, right, up, down but that wasn't the worst part he felt old, young, happy, sad, angry, calm, drunk, and sober all while this was happening his skin sagged showing wrinkles, His hair turning white then falling out. He felt his body grow tired and weak. Then his hand tingled he looked down to see his fingers falling like sand, then his arm, then his torso with the only thing left being his head then nothing.
