The Pomegranate TheoryA Poem by Seren
if asked,
i'd meticulously unwrap a pomegranate's heart, delicately remove each seed and lay them out like rubies tasked, i'd handpick the ripest, serve them perfectly enveloped in dark red and it'd be worth every mess. and what's nausea to me if i were to endure it for you, despite being sickened by its taste? if it meant i could be your caressing arm or your comfort in every place. yet, crushed like each red seed and ripped like a pomegranate's skin until stained, you remained silent, and your silence remains. © 2025 SerenReviews
