Close your eyes and dream of me – as I dream of you
   I’ll be waiting there – you’ll see
   So come to me
   Let our souls be free
 
   I’ll take your hand in mine
   I’ll show the beauty all around
   I’ll hold you in my arms
   And keep you safe and sound
 
   I’ll kiss your lips – that gentle way
   The way that melts a heart
   And in our dreams we’ll hold on tight
   For here we’re never apart
 
   So close your eyes Dear One
   And come to me tonight
   Spread your wing as far as you can
   Let yourself take flight
 
   In our sleep  there’s rainbows
   Each one begins a dream
   Each night we can take a different one
   And see where each one leads
 
   For no matter where we are when we wake
   At dawns first light
   I get the gift of holding you
   Each and every night
 
   So close your eyes and dream

Ohhh I love this alot.. very free-flowing from the heart.. admirable too!! The whole piece spells love so softly and the last stanza is a masterpiece to my heart!

Hey look! i was here before too XD its really hard to believe i met you here. But i love this poem! -more sophisticated and mature by now- It looks as if you wrote this for one of your kids or a loved one ^^ its cute and very imaginative. i like the words you used to write it- and how straight to the point it is.
